Still concerned about RSD?

Do you see any improvement at RSD?

Are you satisfied with the changes Dr. Mowl and Board of Directors made for RSD?

Are you concerned about the declining enrollment?

Do they have the plan for the retention?

If RSD is improving, then why did they still losing the students? I heard that a few parents are still not happy with RSD. Still oppressive environment! I wonder why Dr. Mowl is not taking us serious enough.

I saw the opening position for the public relations. Is he trying to recruit the new students from the maintaining schools? How is going to use this position to improve the image of RSD?

CDP,

You should be asking these questions directly to the RSD Board, either in writing or at one of the forums that the Board has promised to sponsor.

I have noted a couple of important differences between public schools and RSD. Some of them are truly eye-opening! For obvious reasons, I'm not going to go into any detail here.

While I commend Dr. Mowl and the RSD BOD for making small, but important strides in addressing the problems experienced by the RSD community as it pertains to dealing with RSD itself, I observe that organizational problems persist at the school. I've been receiving firsthand/eyewitness accounts. Again, for obvious reasons, I'm not going to go into any detail here.

From what I have heard from my children, parents, and staffs, RSD is not improving a bit.

RSD is a wonderful school. We are lucky to have it here. Effective education at this level for these students isn't easy, but RSD is best prepared for the challenge. If more aggressive parent and teacher involement can be achieved - with solid admin. support - then better success is possible, I think
